The Anachronist

When I was born in the fall of 1989, my parents brought me home from the hospital in my father's 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. It seems fitting that my first contact with the outside world involved an already vintage muscle car from two decades past. This set the stage for my perpetual relationship with the world of automobiles.

There is no period of my life where classic cars have not been a part of my story. I learned to read in part by looking through my father's large picture books of antique cars, memorizing logos and names and hood ornaments and shapes. Classic cars and their owners have been a family hobby and personal source of joy since the beginning, and it has become my mission to share their power, style, beauty, and stories with others. I hope you used to own one. I hope you still do, and if that has not been possible, I hope you will one day have the opportunity to know the excitement of owning and operating a classic car.

Lastly, I hope you enjoy the stories of the cars that my family, friends and I own, used to own, or have encountered on our many adventures. These machines live lives parallel to our own, and they each have a unique story to tell, but they rely on us to tell that story on their behalf. Machines don't die; they do however require our love to continue to share our world.
