Renowned motorsports artist Simon Ward began his lifelong obsession with automobile racing as an 8-year old spectator at the 1972 British Grand Prix, which he has attended almost every year since. His talents for sketching and painting as a hobby ultimately developed into a professional pursuit. Simon's body of work largely favors the form and performance of some of the most fantastic motorsports machines ever built, although he also paints other works such as portraits and custom commissions on request from inspired patrons.
